Transitions lenses offer all the benefits of clear glasses lenses indoors and sunglasses outdoors. They provide visual comfort by automatically adjusting to changing light conditions. This helps to reduce glare and eye fatigue. Eye health is also preserved because these lenses block 100% of UV rays. Transitions lenses are the most advanced photochromic lenses to date. They are darker outdoors particularly in hot temperatures and are available with additional lens coatings which offer the best possible resistance to smudges and dust.

Now in their 8th generation, transitions lenses change from clear to tinted faster than ever and are available in a variety of colours. The range also includes XTRActive transitions lenses designed for people that spend lots of time outdoors and require a dark sunglasses tint.

Transitions Glasses Lenses are Available in Several Colours:

• Amber conveys vintage fashion and works well with numerous colour combinations, such as a light tortoiseshell and dark brown.
• Amethyst coordinates either with warm or cold hue frames. The contrast will be striking with a purple, lilac or pink frame.
• Emerald is the most versatile colour option. Any frame in light brown tones will be enhanced with the fresh touch of colour.
• Sapphire with it’s cold hue looks great with a blue acetate or metal frame. It brings a cool factor and exciting twist.

Transitions Lenses are Available in High Index Materials

Transitions glasses lenses are now available in every refractive index, even the ‘super high’ (1.74) material usually reserved for high prescriptions. They are an option on most  single vision and varifocal progressive lenses.
